Lol!, after reading a lot of the comments made about this song and the movie Kill Bill, I will say this: The song was written by Sonny Bono, and first released by Nancy Sinatra in 1966, then the movie Kill Bill was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and it was released in 2003 with Uma Thurman and David Carradine from the TV series Kung-Fu as the main characters, so there is a huge gap between the song and the movie, like about 37 years of difference, which means that the song was not written for the movie at all, it just happen that the events of the movie is about a man hiring killers to shoot the woman that he loved or say he loved and the song talks about the same thing, but in a symbolized way of a childhood game known as "Cowboys and Indians" which during those times children use to play a lot, there was no video games ok!, it could have been another song but the producers and directors decided to use this song as the theme song because of the explanation that I gave above, and the reason that I laugh is because some of the guys that made a comment looked like if they would it have guns and been in front of each other, they probably would have shot each other, Bang, Bang, lol!!!!
