TeraTerm Menu is a launcher for Teraterm supports automatic login.
Pretty useless. Looks like LogMeTT should be used instead

Q: After installing Tera Term and restarting Windows I got Tera Term icon sitting in Windows system tray. Does it belong to LogMeTT?
A: No, LogMeTT icon is different from Tera Term icon and LogMeTT starts with Windows only if user selects "Run at log on to Windows" option in LogMeTT configuration. The icon that appeared in your case belongs to application called TTPMenu.TTPMenu is a part of Tera Term installation package and has similar but much less functionality than LogMeTT.
You either need to use TTPMenu or LogMeTT depending on your preference.
To stop TTPMenu from appearing in system tray just remove the reference to it from Windows Start up files list (Start->Programs->Startup).
