Samsung GT E1202

Samsung GT-E1182L E1182 DUOS Unlocked Quad-Band Dual SIM GSM Phone with Dual SIM Standby Support, FM Radio and Orga

charger uses a non-standard Samsung connection. Also available on eBay

Dimensions: 1.75 inches, 0.54 inches, 4.2 inches

Biggest disappointment was that the phone is that charger uses a non-standard Samsung connection, not a micro or mini USB connector, so you have to pack a separate charger just for the phone. It is a dual band phone since it only covers GSM 900/1800 frequencies.

Product Features

I got this phone for use abroad and for the short periods I'm in the US. I have a t-mobile SIM card and it works great! Love the torch light, as well as the currency converters. For texting, the keyboard also does other languages, like accents and some Greek as well

AVERAGE PHONE BUT NOT QUAD BAND - INCORRECT ADVERTISING April 28, 2013

By Shaul Saddick

Amazon Verified Purchase

This is an inexpensive basic phone to have when one travels. However, despite being advertised as a Quad Band phone it is not. It is a dual band phone since it only covers GSM 900/1800 frequencies. A true "quad band" phone covers GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies. Although a dual band phone will work in most places, it will not work in some countries that do not use the GSM 900/1800 frequencies. Amazon and the seller of this item need to change the way this product is being advertised. To claim it is a quad phone is totally false and constitutes inaccurate advertising. Buyer beware. Samsung does make other phones that are true quad band (world phones). This one unfortunately is certainly NOT one of them. Thank you.

"I give this phone 4.5 out of 5 stars.." by:

this phone has allowed me to carry one less techno item around .... I have decluttered my desk, my night stand and my pockets... I love the conviennce of having two SIM cards in one device..... The android interface takes a bit of getting used to coming from a blackberry, but the love all the apps available.

the phone works best with bluetooth earpiece, and in strong sunlight the screen is hard to see... but other than that... this was totally worth the money....
